LAOLA Cup 2024
Today we look back on an incredibly great and above all international LAOLA Cup 2023 in Hamburg! From 24 to 28 July, we welcomed teams from 21 different nations to the LAOLA Cup tournament facility in Norderstedt.
Already during the opening ceremony on Monday evening, the atmospheric mood and especially the harmonious cooperation of the national and international teams became apparent. This great atmosphere continued throughout the entire tournament week and the teams became not only opponents on the pitch, but also friends off the pitch.
During the main tournament days from Tuesday to Thursday, we experienced many exciting games, magnificent goals, celebrated victories and also one or two painful defeats. All teams, regardless of whether they came first or last, were then celebrated together at the award ceremony.
The participating teams also had a lot to do outside the tournament - those who were not trying out our large Skill & Fun Area on the tournament grounds were exploring Hamburg. Especially for our international guests, a visit to the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall, a harbour tour or a stadium tour of the Volksparkstadion was a must and also a successful change from playing football.
We would like to thank all the teams once again for an incredibly exciting, but above all harmonious and fair tournament. It was a pleasure to welcome so many teams from all over the world and we are already looking forward to the LAOLA Cup 2024!
The date has already been set - from 22 to 26 July 2024 it will be international again in Hamburg! Registration is already open!
