Review: Junior Women's Mini World Cup in Bremen

From 16 to 18 June, it was colourful and international in Bremen - almost 70 teams from 5 countries competed for the title of "Mini World Champions 2023".

In summery weather, we opened the tournament on Friday evening with our big opening ceremony, where all teams presented themselves in the colours of their respective World Cup nations. So we started an unforgettable tournament weekend with a colourful sea of flags - from Australia to the Netherlands to the USA 🇺🇸

While the group matches were played on Saturday, our Skill & Fun Area provided welcome diversion during the breaks. New records were set when measuring the speed of goal kicks, which were of course rewarded with a small prize at the award ceremony on Sunday.

On Saturday afternoon and Sunday, the Mini World Cup entered the hot phase - the placement and final matches were on the agenda. When the last games were played and the final goals were scored, the new Mini World Champions 2023 were determined! 🏆

We would like to thank all participating teams for an unbelievably great weekend, thank you for exciting matches, unbelievably great goals and fair games!

We are already incredibly looking forward to the Junior Women's Mini European Championships 2024, which we will play in Bremen from 14 June to 16 June 2024 ⚽️
