The Förde Cup transformed Flensburg into a veritable football city from 26 to 28 May 2023. With a total of 120 teams, the tournament was an impressive event that attracted football enthusiasts of all ages. Whether young or old, there was something for everyone. The game stations also provided additional fun and variety during the tournament.
Friday kicked off with a rousing opening ceremony that got the players in the mood for the weekend ahead. The anticipation was palpable as the teams took their first steps onto the pitch. A breathtaking wave of laughter heralded the first opening matches.
On Saturday and Sunday, the teams played thrilling and exciting matches on the pitch. In bright sunshine and pleasant 20 degree temperatures, the players were able to put their skills to the test. The spectators were rewarded with great football and passionate commitment. The atmosphere was characterised by emotion, cheering and shouts of encouragement along the edges of the pitch.
The absolute highlight of the Förde Cup was the award ceremony on Sunday. The outstanding performances of the teams were honoured to the applause of the spectators. All participants received a trophy in recognition of their efforts 🏆
